It's 2 miles to the closest one here that is 100% organic (Seven Bridges).

MoreBeer is about 30 miles away from home, but it's only 10 minutes out of my way home on my commute.

My local LHBS is only about 7 miles away. However, having been in there (with a friend who was buying supplies) I would never personally shop there. It's one of those places where the people working there are snobby douches.

If you are not doing all-grain all the time, you are not a real homebrewer.
If you do anything smaller than 5 gallons, you are not a real homebrewer and wasting your own time. (even if you do all-grain)
If you ask a question about the characteristics of a certain variety of hops, you are not a real homebrewer and you are an idiot.

The workers there are very condescending. It’s a shame, so close, yet such dicks.

Oh well, that’s why I order from, Northern Brewer, Mr. Beer, Austin Homebrew, etc. etc. And if I ever have a question I have you guys and the entirety of the internet.

I've got about a 30 minute drive, not bad at all really. And it's a retail wine and beer shop also; they usually carry a very good selection of craft beers. The guys that work there are really cool too, very willing to help.

If I'm coming from work, less than a mile off of highway.... otherwise, it's a 15 minute trip each way. Very doable.

9 miles, all local roads, about 25 minutes each way. It's a very small shop, but has good supplies. There's a great one in a hardware store about 30 miles away, near my mother in laws.

I was reading this and thinking JEEZ how can those guys stay in business and then I saw you were from Burbank. I thought being snooty in any retail establishment was a prerequisite there. :p

Roughly 20 miles away, in Clifton, NJ. But I live very close to the Garden State Parkway, and can get there in about 20 minutes. Definitely worth the trip to get ingredients on Saturday and brew on Sunday!

My LHBS is about 35 minutes away. If I had a Northern Brewer 3 miles from work, oh, the things I would do....

(But, I'd also be somewhere even colder than where I live now, and that would not be to my liking, so I guess it's a wash.)

Wow, some of you are damn lucky. I guess I should feel fortunate that Love2Brew is only 40 minutes away. Their pricing seems really on par with some of the bigger stores.

My closest Home Brew store is about 35 miles away. But their hours of operation dont work well with my time frame to get there. My only other option is 21/2 hours away but they are open when i can get there and then i go see my daughter who lives there as well so it turns into a extra expensive trip.
