The great thing about Conan is he just takes it all in stride. We have had him for 5 years. His old home was a small 15x15 area with concrete, he now has CARPET.
Over the weekend he was back to being the Silly Bassett. He thanks you for all the well wishes.

I can't believe mine didn't get bit. After three close calls I got a snake removal guy to come out and as I was leading to where the rock wall is I almost stepped on a snake that was in the grass right by the back door. I screamed like a girl... OH...ER.. Uhm. This guy brought his dog with him to my house and it walked right up to that snake gave it a sniff and walked away without a care.
I had that fence up inside a week after that. Glad to hear the Bassett is doing okay.
get a couple of pigs they will eat the snakes then ya can barbeque the pigs. Local legend has it that a Detroit park once was so infested with snakes that Canada gave it to Detroit. It's name pig island a few pigs later no snakes. Do not know if it is true or not but is a nice story.

Glad to hear he's ok. I hate snakes! Grew up with copperheads in indiana, had a few close calls. I prefer rattlers, at-least they warn ya and ya can avoid them.
