Very nice pics! I can't believe some parts have already gotten snow. We won't get much here, and it doesn't usually show up until Late December-January time frame. It is getting a little chilly though. I might have to grab a jacket in a week or two.

Got on the bike and went for a 40 mile ride today. A couple of pics, one from the same lake I put pics above from last year, and one from the road. The lake was not quite as colorful today, not such good reflections, but still nice.

40 mile bike ride? Holy bat-poop batman. I go on 200 mile bike rides, but it's motor powered.

Nice pics!

When it's not icy/snowy, I do a couple of 20s, and a 40 or 50 every week. In between running and/or swimming or Nordic skiing. I'll do a 75-100 a handful of times any given year.

Speaking of running, these are from the research farm last night, which is about my favorite place there is to run 10k cross country style. Which is what I did, with brief "fartlek" pauses to take some pics. (google it LOL).

On my bike ride today I cut through the local garden cemetery (it's about 300 acres, land is split between 3 cities, so it has it's own zip+4). Has nice hills to climb and technical turns. Took some pics from the bike, so they are a bit blurry but you can see just how nice it is this time of year. (some of the pics I posted above are from it, the one with the damn for example).

Had a windy day Saturday... Brought all the flags down and most of the leaves blew off the trees.

It's that bad around here too. The trees are mostly naked, wife sayz it's depressing, she hates the white fluffy stuff that follows shortly. Don't understand why she complains... LOL, I run the blowers, operate the shovels, dig her out everytime she slides off the road.... go figure. Anyway, we are done for the fall colors unless ya'll want to see dead lookin trees.

It's hit or miss here, some areas are getting bare, others still have nice stuff going on.
