Coffee for me too. Bad allergies in the morning keep me in a fog so I must therefore drink Fog Chaser coffee. Then later tonight hopefully one of my CAL with Columbus hops and honey that I bottled 2 weeks ago.

Drank this last night. It's a little blurry but it's El Segundo Brewing Co. - Citra - Pale Ale. Lately been trying to drink beers that use a lot of a specific hop in them to get a feel for said hops and what they can contribute to a beer. This one was pretty good, I'm a fan of the citra.

My CAL with Columbus hops and honey. Only 2 weeks carb/condition time and it's already pretty good.

Abbey Dubbel from last October. It's really hitting its stride. This is a great use for the Bewitched Amber...

Yeah, I like that recipe too, although I think I just used 1/4# of extra light DME for the hops to play in, and then some D-90 or D-180L candi syrup to mine to make up the difference and dry it out more. I've made many different beers with the Bewitched, all of which have been good, it's one of the refills I actually would recommend (on sale).

EDIT: oops... I'm drinking "Some Sort'r Porter".

Another one bites the dust! Another ones gone - another ones gone, another one bites the dust! Just had my last pull from my Scottish Ale keg. Finished the bottles sometime back, saved this keg for late summer/early autumn, and now, May it Rest in Peace. Please bow your head for 'is passing into the bowels of... well.... FIT.

Up next... got a good start on my Oly-Fit IPA. I have noticed the hops aroma getting lighter and lighter. Either I need to drink more than one draw a day, or put some more hops in a sack, dangle into the keg to revitalize the aroma, what to do, what to do. I vote for drinking faster.... LOL

Kneel before Yazoo General Zod!

Image

100% Brett ferment (a blend of 4 Brett stains) with green Jolly Ranchers. So sour... so good... so green...

From the brewer: "We bought bulk pounds of these via http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VFHSEM/ref=cm_sw_su_dp

I put them in the freezer which made them easier to unwrap. They were added directly in after the beer had fermented out. and the Brett did its magic breaking them completely down. I have zero experience with brewing with Jolly Ranchers so for that reason I didn't boil or heat them, as I was concerned about the flavorings boiling off. The JR's were in contact with the beer for 3 months."

Popped open a Murican Wheat tonight. The flavor is exactly like I remember the first batch. The one thing I miss from the first batch though, is the thicker body because I mashed at 155 (and it ended up finishing with high FG because of it). But this is a little more potent. Maybe I ought to add some flaked oats or carapils to it to thicken it up.

No beers in the fridge, all the homebrews are carbing/conditioning so for tonight it'll be Bulleit bourbon.

That is the most awesome thing ever. :: bows down ::

I'm drinking some kind of IPA, what kind exactly I do not know. It came out the side of a truck. Some dude in my neighborhood had a popcorn making tent out for the kids and a truck with taps coming out the sides for adults for Halloween. It was pouring down rain, so normal turnout was 1/2 the usual - so everyone was giving out lots of extra candy, and he had *a lot* of extra beer and popcorn, so he told us to bring over a growler if we had one. So my kids and dogs have been enjoying popcorn, and I've been enjoying whatever this is.
