Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale

Post by BlackDuck »

Here is the Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere Wet Hopped Harvest Ale. Picked this up today at the LHBS today. This might just be the best IPA for the money I have ever had. It was only $4.99 for the bomber. It's aroma is nice, but not too overpowering, the color is a crystal clear reddish brown and the bitterness is damn perfect. It hits you right away, but doesn't leave a hop bitterness coating on your tongue. It's full of citrus with a touch of grass to it, but not much. WOW, this is really good.

My friend bought one last week and we plan to 'pick it apart' this week. I've had this one or something similar before and loved it.
I hear they plan on stepping up their game with the new brewery open in Carolina. It's a win-win for craft beer lovers.

I've enjoy both the Northern and Southern hemisphere versions of that beer quite much.
