So, I was at the store looking at beers and this one was in the cooler. A big bottle so I passed on it. A 102 IBU, believe. I am sure some people out there have tried it. Is it good? And should I pick one up?

So, nearly a month later, I finally grabbed one. All I can say, DELICIOUS!!!! I was intimidated at first because of the 102 IBU, but man, talk about a well crafted, balanced beer. I like it better than New Belgium Rampant IIPA. Thanks for pushing me to try it Inkleg and ssorck!

So, now, there is a Chimay beer at the same store, $12 bottle. Don't remember which it is, but I think I might grab one...

Hop Stoopid is great. One of the best beer bargains out there at less than $5 per bomber. I rate that, Yazoo Sue ($4.50ish per bomber), and Victory Helios Saison ($3ish per bomber) as the best beer bargains in our market, btw.

Go ahead and grab that one too. Don't know which one you're talking about or if you'll like it as much as the Hop Stoopid, but I have no problem spending YOUR money on beer.

All depends on which extreme you rather sip on... really hoppy or really malty. Haven't had a Chimay beer I didn't like, but I love malty beers.
