Raspberry Lager followed by an Oatmeal Stout so far, watching U of M vs. Little Cousin... SWMBO had a St. Valentine's Cherries in Honey.

Then a Bewitched Red, as we circled down the bowl...

Wife found a big jar of Mulling spices at the natural food store in town, so we are drinking hot apple cider that was.... mulled....mmmm good chit!

Hate to say it... I'm getting bored of drinking beer. Don't know how long I can keep drinking beer before I stop and revert back to just crown. Maybe a month or so with no beer will make me fond of it again, who knows. Maybe I'm just too tired today.
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!

Tester of my "Chimay Patersbier", which is basically an experimental Chimay Blue clone at patersbier strength.

It's a bit whacked. The WLP500 did what 3787 does when you make a patersbier with it - it amped up the fruit. And my yeast acted weird, this is the batch that fermented like mad, and my other batch fermented lamely and they both came off the same starter, so I'm not sure what happened there. And in this batch that fermented like made, the temps got a bit high, where the other one did not.

So this batch is smacking me in the face with plums and bananas. I do not dislike it, but it tastes very different then I had intended. Some of that fruit will mellow with age, which would not be a bad thing.

Pseudo Kriek. This bottle is somewhat more sour and a bit overcarbed. Apparently it turned into a real kriek, IE somehow some of the sour mash bugs survived and are starting to have a party in my bottles, or I got a random bottle infection. I threw another bottle in the fridge, so we will see. If it's this sour, the rest will go in the fridge tomorrow and be consumed soon. It's still good - within a reasonable level of sour. But I would not want it to sour a lot more, unless I was aging it for 2 years.

Nong Keep your eyes IPA. Citra/Cascade hops
This one leaves a coating of yummy hops in the mouth. So it's easy to savor the flavor.

Pseudo Kriek - not as sour as yesterdays. Must have been a bottle infection. First one I've had in like... forever.
