Cold? You know there are Canadians on here right?

Having said that...... I hate the cold! Grew up hating the cold. My dad hated the cold too. He always talked about moving us to arid-zona, but I guess he liked us being Canadian more.
My job is in the cold. I work in a frozen food warehouse. Our temps range from 30F to -28F. Most days I'm in the -11F room, where we work for an hour and a half and then are allowed to come out for a ''warm-up'' for 10-20 mins. :freeze: :freeze: :freeze: :freeze:

good enough to be a stand alone. They did a short recap to bring you up to speed if you didn't see #1, so it's not just a "Waaa?" movie.
We liked it. When it comes out on DVD, we'll add that to the collection as well.

got two vials of yeast at that Yakima Valley Hops place..
I can use one, but the other is a Lager yeast. I don't think I'm gonna spend the time on a lager. I might kill it and use it for food for my ale.

oh, as a side note... my 100613 is hopped just right for a nice "zing" beer. Not too hoppy, not under hoppy. So it ended up right where I wanted it.
The 092213 is the Nong Irish Not So Red... Again, hit the spot on that. Has just just enough hops to say, yeah, that isn't bland.

Oh! And so are the neighbors.

Bwahahahahahahahaha! That never gets old. :muahaha:
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Do any of you run a Linux OS on your computers? I just installed one on my daughters acer netbook, she lost some start-up files for the win 7 and the computer doesn't have a cd drive, so I couldn't reinstall windows. The one I put on for her is a simple one that can fit on a 4g flash drive. For those of you that have never used a Linux OS it's pretty cool.

I'd be afraid some of the software I use would not have the necessary drivers to run in that.

Well, it's here. We have a 0% chance of rain or snow today so says the Weather Channel. Well, they lied! I woke up this am to a blanket of white wet fluffy stuff. As I look out the window, it is coming down in big, wet not so fluffy stuff. And here I sit, my snow-blower tractor STILL not operational because the parts have been on order over a month... this is going to be a loooooooooooooooooon winter.

Yeah, it was right around the freezing mark on the drive home from work tonight.... big white flakes falling from the sky. Fortunately they seem to be turning to water droplets on/before impact.
I hate winter. :freeze:

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

I am drinking ale today."
