First, DO NOT use the post office. That is actually illegal. Using a private company (UPS or FEDEX), is legal (just maybe against policy...). Get a small box from a store, or left over somewhere and pack the beer yourself. Seal the box. I go to the UPS store and fill out the slip. It asks for the contents, vagueness is your friend here. Most put "crafts" or "glass crafts," since you know, we did craft it! Send and enjoy!monsteroyd wrote:Me Too!
Can someone give pointers on how to ship beer around so as not to get into trouble?

Re: Ho Ho Ho......
Sounds fun! I might be interested. It all depends on when this thing gets off the ground and if I have anything worth sending. I've brewed 4 batches so far (3 mr. beer recipes & 1 dme with steeping grains original recipe) but I've only had the opportunity to taste the first so far. It was awful. If I have something drinkable when this thing takes off I'm in. Otherwise, there is always next year.

OK, I'm interested. I'd be happy to send some LI beer and a couple of mine out to the borg.
