the 4th version of my cincinnati common
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

First (well, second counting the tester...) pour of the Conan IPA. Belgian and peach prevalent. Bitter, but not as much flavor/aroma as I had hoped. Very good, but a B grade when I wanted an A. No worries...

Been a while, but a much needed cup of coffee to start the day.
Re: What are you drinking?
My turn for football food and beer... shrimp/chicken/Andouille sausage gumbo, corn bread and the apps my wife is making... with SA Octoberfest, Miller lite for my buddies wife, my Belgium Tripel, Brown Ale, Cream Ale, and Imperial Blonde. Something for all of us...

Wow mt! If I could catch a flight that quick, I'd be there. My buddies wife would be doing without in my house, but the rest sounds good! This all for the Saints game?

What is best in life?" "To crush your enemies -- See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"

Coming from your great photo eye, I'll defiantly take that as a complement.Ibasterd wrote:Cool photo Inkleg. Is that your brewing setup?
Yes, that is my simple BIAB set up. Blichmann burner with a 15 gallon pot. That beautiful light green/blue background you see is rigid insulation propped up by the top of a lawn ornament it was windy today.

FIT, indirectly Saints fans. We're pats and Giants fans, so since Pats had a bye, my food was for Saints to beat the Cowboys. Apps were based on NY.

I enjoyed the Stone IPA so much with lunch I'm having one of the Levitation Ales with dinner. Equally as delicious.

Dirty Derby Drank (the sour mashed Kentucky Common). The sourness has amplified slightly with age- not too much pucker, just right. The peanut buttery flavor in the finish is still there as well, with a slight smokiness, likely due to the rye malt. Really digging this!
