Had a Wicked Red IPA, made with Diablo, amber DME, Cascade hops. Now drinking a modified Pilot House with extra DME and Saaz, brewed as a true lager. Watching the Colts battle the Titans; great game in the mid 4th quarter.

Blanche de Bruxelles, aka pissing baby beer. Fantastic, classic example of a Belgian witbier. Deliciously lemony and crisp!

Went to my homebrew club meet tonight. Topic was 'Winter Warmer' tastings of the current batch of 2013 ales. Had some 20 examples to taste; 18 commercial examples & 2 homebrewed examples. I tasted about 15 'Winter Warmer' ales. Good times, good ales!

i'm trying a brew that philm00x worked up with me we call the dirty derby drank. as my luck usually runs i lost half my soured wort and naturally i had no extra dme on hand. so i added some candi sugar i had. it has taken forever to condition out . tonight i have discovered that; if this is the screwed up brew, i gotta brew this again. this is good, even get a little taste of peanut butter that phil mentioned.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
