Secret Santa Kick Off

Ok guys, I will be posting rules and such below. I apologize for the late notice. I will be giving everyone a week to decide and send me your information. Everyone is expected to at least follow the minimum guidelines. If you have any questions, please to not hesitate to ask or PM me.

Rules.
1. HAVE FUN!!!!!!
2. Send a minimum of 24 ounces of brew to your little orphan annie. You can send anythign else as well, but this is the minimum. Keep in mind your Secret Santa is only required to send the minimum for your gift as well, and may choose to do so. If this is the case, do not get upset and post, or PM, your dissatisfaction, but accept your gift graciously and in the spirit of the holidays. Brew can be local or homebrew. Young or old. If instructions are needed for some reason, please provide notes. BlackDuck did a fine job last year and even provided the recipe (THANKS!!!).
3. After signing up for Beer Secret Santa, if a serious problem arises and you cannot participate please notify me as soon as possible so I can make adjustments. If you have any reason, that you must pull out, let me know. We are here to have fun.
4. Ship your package the right way. I must make it a point that shipping through USPS is illegal. Check your local laws as well. If I was to ship beer (through UPS, not Fedex as its more expensive), I would say its a lava lamp, or call for pick up. No questions no foul. YOUTUBE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5HXqiIJxwE) has a nice video on shipping. The main thing is to have your beers ONLY touching packing "stuff" (packing peanuts, balled up newspaper, etc.). Not each others and certainly not the edge of the shipping box.
5. I would advise tracking your shipment if possible.

I just saw the beer ship youtube vid. Its actually pretty good (I like the SNOW GLOBE idea). I would add "stuffing" to every side of the shipping box. I just do not like any part of my brew touching the sides of the shipping box, regardless if the bottom of the bottle glass is thicker. Thanks to those that have signed up already. I love this time of the year.

When I ship beer I use UPS and I don't tell them anything, go to ups.com, print your own label and hand the package to a ups driver and it's gone.

UPS store here always ask whats in da package. I always say a birthday gift, they say ok and press on with pride.

Another fun part of this Secret Santa thing that I enjoy is tracking my package progress on the UPS site. So far my shipment has been scanned 5 times and has been in 3 different cities, getting very close to it's destination now.
