Who All Ain't Shaving This Month?

Post by jimjohson »

i'll start with me
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Company policy prohibits beards (which makes sense, since facial hair actually traps pesticides, so a beard wouldn't be in my best interests).

I do, however, have a nice handlebar mustache, which reminds me, I need to update my userpic.

I just shaved Sunday night. I couldn't go any longer. Drove me ballistic! But I did raise awareness to several people in my almost 3 weeks, so I consider it a win.

I always sport a moustache and goatee, but I grow out the full lumberjack beard in November and help spread the word about important men's health issues.

I have not shaved since sometime in September. Wanted to get a head start.

Seriously? Man your facial hair comes in fast then. I haven't shaved since Oct. 26 (had a wedding to attend that day) and my facial hair is still only a pinky nail's length.

I'll shave my throat, but the rest hasn't been shaved regularly since January 31st 2009. Retirement suits me.

Like Brewing Brother I regularly shave my neck. But the last time I did the rest of my face was May of 1976. The darn hair was dark then.

Same. I grew a beard on retirement three years ago. I shaved it in the spring, but no one recognized me.

As usual, I must have missed something. Even so, I shave once every 9-10 months. Shaved bout 2 months back, but probably will for the family pics come turkey-day. Seriously, did I miss something?

no shave november is to promote mens helth and prostate cancer awareness. kinda like our "pink ribbon". i also wear a beard, but since mine is a "jawline" beard i'm just not shaving my cheeks and neck this month.
