Thank you. I refrigerated about a quart of slurry.
And I'll revise the above on fusel alcohol. While the batch did not taste hot or strongly alcoholic, I did get a headache yesterday afternoon. That could be anything, but I'll know when I drink more.

Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

Re: Rare Vos Clone?
I have some feedback on this beer: my wife likes it, my neighbor too. I tried it against Rare Vos, the spices in mine much more subdued, the body is less. I also brought it to a homebrew meeting tonight, it received unanimous approval. I'm going to submit it in a local competition for more feedback.

Okay, scores are in. This one got a 29, top of the "good" category. It lost some points on color and head, but did not suffer from fusels, so the higher temp did no harm.

Good going here as well John... 29 is nothing to sneeze at!John Sand wrote:Okay, scores are in. This one got a 29, top of the "good" category. It lost some points on color and head, but did not suffer from fusels, so the higher temp did no harm.
I am so interested in how this develops as I would like to try my hand at cloning it as well...
One of my favorite beers for sure...
Congrats!
