The next time you take a reading, make sure all those bubbles around the hydro are gone and make sure it is not resting on the side of the glass tube....that may be part of the problem. The hydro should be free floating with no bubbles around it.

I just took a sample taste a week after adding the ounce of Citra hops. It has a much more forward citrus feel to it now and less sweet. I think I'm going to bottle it soon.

Ok, finally tasted one last night. It's got a huge hop aroma on the forward, but is missing some bitternes to back it up. Otherwise, it's pretty good, tates more like a pale ale.
I think I'm going to call this one 'Hop Jump'.
