Tastes like an IPA. I detected no essence of Christmas.

Sam Adams' Fat Jack Pumpkin Ale.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Went to buy my annual bottle, and was deceived at the Filling Station with 2012-13 bottle. Still great, but will need to get a 2013-14 one...

Had a MrB Spring White, bottled in May. Not bad. Still wouldn't make it again.

Just wanted to add...I am spectacularly unimpressed.

I guarantee worse things have gotten in your beer at some point besides beard yeast. Luckily for you the fermentation killed them. That's what's so cool about fermentation.

I'm drinking Chimay Patersbier batch #1 (the not so mineraly fermented fast version). I don't want anything high ABV since I did a highly impromptu 15k ski biathlon (with bow not rifle), 5k of it classic, 10k of it skate (freestyle). I'm sore everywhere. But ready to eat lots of food tomorrow.
