"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Sam Adams' Fat Jack Pumpkin Ale.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Went to buy my annual bottle, and was deceived at the Filling Station with 2012-13 bottle. Still great, but will need to get a 2013-14 one...

Had a MrB Spring White, bottled in May. Not bad. Still wouldn't make it again.

Re: What are you drinking?
I guarantee worse things have gotten in your beer at some point besides beard yeast. Luckily for you the fermentation killed them. That's what's so cool about fermentation.ssorck wrote:Haha you got the Beard beer, huh. How'd you like it? Sure looks good. I can't bring myself to buy that, lol.
I'm drinking Chimay Patersbier batch #1 (the not so mineraly fermented fast version). I don't want anything high ABV since I did a highly impromptu 15k ski biathlon (with bow not rifle), 5k of it classic, 10k of it skate (freestyle). I'm sore everywhere. But ready to eat lots of food tomorrow.
