Do You Think This Will...
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
― D.H. Lawrence

Re: Do You Think This Will...
that's nice!
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
Edgar Allan Poe

It is nice, but costs ten years of Ale Pails!
I've had some success with enamel or stainless 12qt pots from Walmart. They cost 14$ and 9$ respectively. I use them without modification, the lid acts as "airlock". The ss ones can hold dried krausen under the rivets, making them harder to clean and sanitize.

Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

It's too bad that brew bucket doesn't have a valve on the bottom to drop the trub out. With that design I don't know why they wouldn't have gone ahead and added one.

I wish there was a 3 gallon version, but I'm still not sure how I could justify the $$$ over an LBC.
