Beer Heaven

Post by John Sand »

I went with my wife to buy a new kitchen rug today. We then stopped for lunch at a place I've wanted to try: Road Trip Alehouse in Port Jeff Station. We had salads (mine had bbq chicken in it) which were good. But the real pleasure was that they had 52 craft beers on tap, not a BMC among them. A flight of 3x7oz was $7. I had Founder's Red's Rye, Green Flash West Coast and Captain Lawrence Liquid Gold. All I can say is that I'll be back!
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

Kewelll !! While others were trampling, tasering, shooting and otherwise demeaning themselves you were quietly enjoying some craft brew. You deserve, if there is one a :borg: medal of honor. :)

Sounds good to me! That might even make me want to cross the GWB from Jersey!

That's a pretty good flight.

Well, with 52 craft beers on tap, you could go there every week for a year and have a session with a different beer.

You have your assignment....

Off I go! No, Dave, that will never work. They rotate them! I just have to go more often! OK, who's coming to LI? First round is on me.
