$3,500-$4,000 from the dealer near me.
My hunting buddy went and visited a local ice making company and inquired about purchasing one of their walk in chests. It seems that over time the floor starts to go bad. He got it for close to nothing since they would have had to pay to have it hauled away. Seeing as he doesnt drink, he converted it into a game locker. It sure is nice to be able to go deer hunting in July and have a cold place to hang the meat for a few days. Mer personally I would have at least allocated part of it to the beer side of things.

perhaps he ment avoiding the wife she'd be "dear" hunting
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

We process pigs and lambs about this time of the year from a local farmer that we have gotten to know over 15 years or so. In the summer if he is having crop damage he gets the tags. His grandkids are only interested in getting that big buck and since you can only hunt does for crop damage he lets us go to town. The best thing is that even though we are technically in a no-rifle zone, since this is not a seasoned hunt anything goes. And yes, we did confirm that with the DNR.
