Need help with a name!

Post by JimH »

So, here I am, getting ready to bottle my Super Bowl Ale. Using up my last MB HME, Classic American Light, with some added hops and DME. Thinking of calling this Lombardi Sweat. Thoughts? If anyone has a better name, I am open to it! After all, the name is the best part, right?

I want to like the name Lombardi Sweat. But I don't want to drink dead coach sweat! Super Bowl Ale sounds good to me.

Never mind, there it is.

Since it should be a nice pale brew, you could call it Gridiron Gold or something like that.

I wish I had a lager setup so I could name one Brian UrLager.
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.

I like Gridiron Gold as well. Still has that tie to football, but as was pointed out, who wants to drink sweat?
