Picked this up yesterday, it's from Boulevard Brewing, a Saison with a little funk. Not bad and I have another to try a year from now.

I'm drinking my 2nd round of the Spring Seasonal White IPA (Saison yeast this time around) while brewing and checking in on football from time to time.

Red Hook Long Hammer IPA, after suggestion from the Nong. 1) The bottles are AWESOME! 2) This is the first IPA I've had that I actually like. Tastes more like a pale ale, or even like a more heavily hopped, flavorful American lager. Aroma is very strongly piney, but followed by citrus, and there is good malty flavor.

Hey Phil, try a Red Hook Game Changer if you can find it. They only sell it in kegs for distribution so you have to find it at restaurants or bars. The Buffalo Wild Wings here has it. It's malty with some hops overtones. Not too much hops as in not an IPA.................it's more of an American Pale/Amber.

Again not my pic, but I'm drinking one of these. It tastes like the hoppy/citrusy part of the saison that I drank last night got bottled on its own to be honest. But it is better on it's own.

Swinging through Publix this evening to see if they have any Long Hammer IPA from Red Hook. Had a few pints at a local place here in Pensacola and enjoyed it. Not an over the top hop bomb that many IPA's are leaning towards these days. Nice drinking IPA.

Having a pint of FedoraDave's American Ale after just putting dinner on. Roast herb chicken with red potatoes and broccoli. Now that I think of it, FD's American Ale would pair well with that. Dang, gonna hafta have another with dinner!
