Stalled Fermentation
So with ski season taking off like wild, 3 snowstorms in 5 days, I haven't been keeping an eye on my fermentation and the temperature of my Wheat Pale Ale (US-05) had dropped to 53*F. There was no airlock activity. I moved the fermenter off the floor and warmed it with an electric heating pad and the airlock started bubbling again.
This is the first time that's happened to me. Is there anything I should do, like add some yeast nutrient?

Nope. It will kick back in, just like when you cold crash and then bottle.
Oh, and the fact that you live by the slopes and can ski when you want means I hate you.

9 days on skis so far.
7 Alpine, 2 Cross-country. It's shaping up to be a great winter.

It would be a lot easier to upload the pics if the forum added Tapatalk support.
After dinner tonight, I'll upload some.

I cross country ski, and lots of good places to do it around here, so I pretty much ski when I want too as long as mother nature cooperates. Root Skier has an advantage over me there with snow machines.

I'm taking up XC this season. It's not always possible for me to get to Blue Mountain when it snows. XC is the next best thing. Being on any kind of skis is better than not being on skis imho, lol.
