MERRY CHRISTMAS

Post by myhorselikesbeer »

Hello everyone, it's been a while....life you know. Hope everyone is doing well and mastering the obsession. Brewing has been on hold, the stove is taking too long and I'm not getting good boils. I asked for a burner for Christmas. Been making wine in the mean time...LOML is happy...hopefully a burner for me!!!! Nice 8 point in rifle season..bigger one was under me on the last day of archery but the doe he was chasing pegged me and that was that. Anyway, Merry Christmas and a Healthy Happy New Year to you and yours.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Right back at ya and hope Santa comes through for you.

In the mean time I say brew less (volume) more often (quantity) and keep that pipeline filled. Not brewing is no way to start the new year.

We know, we all know. Life does sometimes get in the way of things we'd like to be doing. Thanks for poking your head in and saying "Hi". Hope you're able to bag that burner to go with the 8 pointer.

Merry Christmas to you, too, horse. Your handle is one of my all-time faves (along with "bradyfumbled")! I gotta ask-- how much beer does your horse drink? And, does (s)he show any behavioral side-effects like us humans do?

I hope you get that burner -- I just graduated from an electric stove to a burner, and the difference is dramatic. You will love the ability to get to boiling temps quickly, and stay there easily.

Cheers!
