Re: Beer & Brewing Presents
I received a really nice custom mug from my future son in law, and a beer tour from my step-daughter.
I don't know if I was good or bad this year, as those thoughtful gifts were my only ones!

LOML gifted me a set of IPA glasses, a pound of Cascade pellet hops, and a copy of BYO's "250 Classic Clone Recipes".

I didn't get any brewing related gifts but I got money this year which I will most likely then use on brewing supplies. My brother did pick me up a bottle of Johnny black label and a bomber of Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale. I am quite happy with what all I received.

Great presents listed. No beer presents for me (the wife learned her lesson many years ago when she bought me a Mr. B kit... haven't received a beer related gift since... well, actually, I think she bought be a false bottom a few years ago, but that might have been a birthday...), though I got great Beer Santa gifts from here and elsewhere, worked a beer festival (and brought home a case of extra beers), and I bought me a few Goose Island presents for myself, so I made out OK...

After seeing the pics on the other post showing your stash Swen I'd say you are set for a while whether you got brew stuff or not. (jealous e-moticon)swenocha wrote:Great presents listed. Re: Beer & Brewing Presents
I got a bottle of Brooklyn Brewery's 25th Anniversary from my daughter and her fiance (this young man is a welcome addition to the family!), and SWMBO surprised me with a Tommy Bahama Hawaiian Shirt bottle opener for my bottle opener collection. My brother and his wife got me a "Man Cave" kit, which consists of a bag of Beer Chips (made, apparently, with maltodextrin), a summer sausage, and a mug with "Man Cave - Eat, Drink, and Whatever" printed on it, to display with my other glassware.
The best thing, though, is the big gift SWMBO had custom-made for me. She works with a guy who has a side business of making cornhole sets. She tricked me into printing a couple of label sheets, telling me this guy was interested in my labels. So she commissioned him to make two cornhole boards, one with a Pearly Pils label, and the other with a FedoraDave's American Ale label. He hand-painted the designs, which he doesn't do anymore; he only does decals. This will be a fun addition to backyard barbecues, and in the meantime, they look pretty neat in the ManCave.
My mom also got me a 3-gallon carboy for my birthday, but I haven't opened it yet, because it's only 6:00 am, and I'll open all my birthday prezzies this evening. I've shown amazing restraint, since it arrived a week ago.
