Thanks swenocha. Looking good is feeling good. I find that I like the taste of my beer more if it looks good in the bottle. At least I'm getting half of it right.

Damn, that sounds like an amazing combination. Gonna have to get some goat cheese and summer sausage tomorrow to watch the Solar Bears game with! Got a Chocolate Brown Ale in the fridge already!Ibasterd wrote:First pour of my Ye Olde Devil Nut Brown Ale paired with some Drunken Goat cheese and summer sausage. It's good!
I'm currently having JimJohson's American Pale Ale. Delicious with hot wings and garlic knots! Dark copper color, not heavy on the hops. Easy drinking!

In other news, not drinking anything right now, planning on going to a new place in town. It's not necessarily new, the Little Toad Creek Inn and Tavern opened an auxiliary location last week. The main place is really good food, and the beers have gotten better as they got customer feedback. The other location is 45 minute drive, this one, about a mile from my house!

Pepsi Throwback... with real sugar. I've missed that over these years. Doesn't have that ugly bite at the end. Should mix grand with Rum, or whiskey.
Just say'n..

Firestone DBA (thanks, Kealia!)... Liking this a lot. English style and just a subtle oak and vanilla to go with biscuity, toasty and caramel-y flavors.
