Help me out, please ....
How do you guys ship beer.
I need to send some to my son in GA who is about to brew his first thiss week
And would like to send to some other s.
Any legal issues?
Packaging?
FED EX?

As of now, you can't ship it via the post office. I use UPS but FedEx is just as good. Don't mark it beer and double wrap each bottle separately and use lots and lots of packing material.
I've sent plenty and received plenty and except for a few with leaks, none have come to be broken.
And here's some info that may answer some legal questions.

Using ziploc bags for each bottle is a good idea because in the even that one breaks, the liquid will be contained in the zipped bag, and not soak into the box. If the box gets soaked, the shipper will open it, check the contents, and then possibly take legal action against the sender.
