By your description, I'd personally start with the following types of kits/extracts from Brewers Best and work my way out: American Light, Kolsch (as others have suggested), American cream ale, Continental pilsner, Vienna Lager, Imperial Blonde. I'd then extend out the Munich Helles, English Bitter (don't be fooled by the name... not very bitter), Belgian Golden, and others. So many options... :woot:

Welcome, If you are willing to listen there is a lot of good advice here! you will start to expand your horizons quite quickly. Start trying different craft brews that are on the lighter end of the spectrum (probably avoid IPAs for now) and you will get a good feel for what you really like.

As your palate expands you will find that your tastes will change as well
