Re: My best tasting IPA to date
To me, that's the quintessential IPA.....Right about the 1.065 range. I've made tons of them very much like this with variations of specialty grains and hop mixtures. Not a one is bad and everyone could be my house IPA.
I've got 5 lbs of white wheat and wasn't sure how much I should use so this gives me a good idea.
I did one similar recently but added some Cascade with the Amarillo and Simcoe which I like. And then my favorite so far added some Citra. It was my NOLA Hopocalypse.

Roger...that looks like a great recipe. I may have to give it a shot if you don't mind. Have you shared that on the BeerSmith recipe site?

Roger/Paul,
Both of those look great. And to think two years ago I didn't like IPAs at all.

Re: My best tasting IPA to date
I'm working on another one right now to take advantage of all the hops I have in stock. I'll likely switch back and forth before I decide for sure but I want to make and drink so many IPA's I start to hate them.
Don't hold your breath as this may take awhile.
