Simplify - Too many Categories

Post by Beerlabelman »

Hi Beer Brothers. I love this new cool state of the art brew forum, but I'm lost here sometimes. I don't know where to go.
Lou do you agree? It's almost like this site is too good. Did Obama ever think of asking you for help?
I would like to see it reduced. Cheers! Steve "BLM"

I always just click on "view new posts" and go from there. That way I don't have to concern myself with what category they are in.

+1 Same here...

Except there is some sort of timer that expires them as new or somethng...

Sometimes I'll check them (view new posts) and there will be a lot of them and a few minutes later I look again (having not read or clicked on most of them) and there will be like none, or one, or three...

Then I have to go look via category to find the ones I haven't read yet...

I visit all the categories and look to see if anything looks interesting or new. Then I scroll down until the dates of the last postings have dust on them.

Great ideas boys! I'm going with the "View New Posts" feature to see what's up. We definitely have all bases covered on this site. :D

I check all categories that turn red meaning new post(s). Figure if anybody replies to any of mine I'll run up on it that way.

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Compared to many forums, the "rooms" are quite minimal and spot on. I tend to concentrate on the rooms that interest me and skim the rest for interesting topics.

BTW Nice new hat (on the avatar) Dave!
