The same thing that has been going on for the last 50 or so years. They get one talented guy, then he doesn't produce the numbers like they want him to, then they trade him. They seem to think that one guy is going to change the program over night, instead of investing in a number of guys over a period of time to build a TEAM that can win. I grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, it's the same story that rears it's ugly head every couple of years. Painful to watch for a Cleveland fan.

Well, since I have him on my fantasy roster, here's hoping he produces more with a better team around him (no offense to the Browns fans...)

I read that he ''wasn't fitting in with the new system" that the new coach and GM have in mind. Something about they want to rebuild through the draft. Um.... YOU JUST DRAFTED THAT GUY! Jeez!

As an OSU fan I have always kept my eye on the Browns and cheered for them (when they weren't playing the Patriots). This just boggles my mind though.

I've read that he didn't fit into their scheme but I think they've already given up this year and will use the draft and this deal to patiently wait another year. It took my by surprise.

Ta-Da.....this is exactly what has been going on up there for years. It's always about next years draft and waiting patiently for another year.

So I guess the Browns were the actual winners in this trade. Who else knew Richardson was THAT bad?

As a "closet" Browns fan I would love to see the browns play a home game against the Ravens in a Retro Uniform game. That would be awesome.

Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

If you're a ''closet'' fan, what's your first team?

After the game last night somebody in the Brown's front office is feeling like a genius.

T-Rich was horrible.

Could be worse… you could be Packers fan.

Or… Watch your team have a two game lead on the division and then lose 4 games in a row and miss the playoffs all together. FK'N LIONS :throw:
