Oops!
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

What time or is it simply a canned presentation and you can log on whenever? I could not find anything in my emails about a class time nor anything on their website other than a date.

EDIT: Yup, no set time, view at your leisure.

Quick note... at least for me, Chrome is not working (can't view videos or text in lesson). Firefox works fine. They posted that they had had some technical problems, so I don't know if that's related, but if you have problems with Chrome, I'd try another browser for now...

Really looking forward to this. I think any early Chrome probs have been solved by Next Thought. Mine works anyway.

M00town Rufus, how do I get into the borg group? I tried entering "Beerborg" then the PW. No go. Thanks for making that.

PS Any comments posted on that Beer Chemistry forum will be mine alone and do not reflect the views of management, i.e., BB1. Like for example, if I post that BMC is not actually beer or that Pride of Ringworm is not a actually hops. It is a open classroom environment right? Freedom of speech without blowback.

Same here.

And no offense to chemistry geeks out there, but I figure the beer knows what it's supposed to do. If I provide a good environment, I'll get good beer.

I've watched the vids and then began to read the "required material" down under the vids. This is going to be pretty complex but I'll survive. I had all kinds of chemistry in college.

Can someone please post the steps they took to join the :borg: discussion group? Thanks.

Dave: I am not very well-equipped either (business major - avoided all sciences) but I think picked up a basic understanding from the general chemistry course available online, same website. I am sure the borg members will help each other through it. My thinking is: if I can make beer without this knowledge I can surely do it better if I understand the science better. You seem pretty technical minded to me. If you join in to have a look then hate it just don't log back in.

Thanks for posting that. I don't know if I would ever have figured it out.
