Mmm that sounds and looks good Phil, I like General tso but I can't eat it with 2 sticks. I have to use a fork or fingers, but that is really good stuff.

I can eat the big pieces of food with chopsticks... rice is my biggest enemy with those things. Also, I would like to state that date night is key for happy marriage! Have fun on the weekend, Don!

I've been cleaning bottles tonight, yes it can be a PITA, but I try to always rinse out my bottles after I pour. Getting them rinsed right away makes cleaning lots better. Most of the time a quick rinse again and they are ready to be sanitized. Label bottles I soak overnight in a bucket with hot water and Oxi-clean.

no bottles I keg got tire of that pain in the A$$ long ago. Kegging is worth the investment, more brewing time therefore more beer. You gotta love that!!

in brewing it is a requirement

The other day I was talking to an older gentleman at the local store and he was telling me about a meth lab they discovered in an abandoned farm house in the next county. I asked him if they had a drug problem back when he was younger.
He said, "You'd better damn well believe I had a drug problem when I was younger!
"I was "drug" to church on Sunday morning. I was "drug" to church for weddings and funerals. I was "drug" to family reunions and socials regardless of the weather. I was "drug" to the woodshed when I was disrespectful to my elders or disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card or spoke ill of my teacher or Minister. I was "drug" to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profanity. I was "drug" to the neighbors to help mow their lawns and if my mother ever caught me accepting even a dime for this kindness my dad would have "drug" me back out to the woodshed.
"Those "drugs" are still in my veins and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say or think. They are stronger than crack, cocaine or heroin and if today's kids had this kind of a drug problem then America would be a much better place."
Amen.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
Went in for a Job interview today.
One of the questions the guy asked was: What are your long term plans regarding this company.
I looked him dead square in the eyes and said:
I'm 60 years old. What kinda long term we talking here?

And I'm just guessing, but I bet that interviewer was about 1/2 your age. Tell them you want to work and make the company money and you want to make some money too and that's why you are there.

Close. He was 5 years younger than me. It took him a minute to regain his composure after laughing so much.
you just have to know how to deliver those one liners...

Now there is a '67 Corvette with a current bid of 3.5 Million. WOW. I wonder what these people do for a living, to be able to drop that much coin on a car.

I just rinse once or twice, then toss into the trash. Love my kegs.
Hmmm…. I've been using the same PET bottles for at least a dozen batches. I rinse after using and then rinse before sanitizing. My last batch is coming out with very little head and no lacing. I wonder if the bottles could be to blame?
