Last Saturday I brewed a 1 gal AG kit, Every day IPA (Brooklyn Brew Shop) that I got for Christmas and today I brewed a 5 gal extract recipe of YankeeDag's called El Tardo Grandé (Irish Red)!
Man did it feel good to brew again!
Now if I could get a steady routine going I'd be one happy brewer!

Whats Brewing
Re: On a roll!
I know the feeling. Last week I did my first solo brew since my surgery. Today I am doing another one. This one will go in my ale pail. Then next week I will be kegging the beer I brewed last week. And the week after that I will either keg or bottle this one.
I liked having my friends over to help me brew. But there is something liberating about knowing I am capable of brewing alone now.

Better than being in a roll...
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

I put roast beef on a roll...
Re: On a roll!
I can totally relate. This is what makes us brewers. We like brewing as much as tasting and drinking. When I go too long without brewing, I get depressed. But, I have a six 5gal corny pipeline, plus some bottle batches ... and I have to cut production. I'm not going to buy more cornys. I have to draw the line somewhere, heh heh.

Awesome! Glad you got back into it, and let me know what you think of the Everyday IPA, that was the first AG I did, and my second beer ever.
