I threw caution into the wind
I turned the regulator almost all the way up on my blichmann burner. My wort was coming to a boil before I finished hosing down my mash tun. I was impressed as I frantically turned it down with one hand while spraying foam down with the other.
Re: I threw caution into the wind
That's quick. I usually go to compost heap, dump grains, rinse, then adjust burner. I thought that was quick for 7 gals....
Re: I threw caution into the wind
Up until now I have always given it just enough gas to see the temperature rise. Which was never very far on. Today I wanted to see what it could do. I had no idea. Now I can see why people who do 10 and 15 gallon batches like these burners.
