Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

Bottling the blonde ale while watching the Broncos whip up on the Pats. Got to make a Chardonnay for the boss during the Seattle beat down of SF. No school tomorrow, so I'm headed to the LHBS for a Honey Wheat brew next weekend. Anyone have any suggestions or tweaks you would care to share would be greatly appreciated. It will be an extract brew. Still not confident enough to do an AG, but getting more with each brew.
Have a great day.

Just got done brewing a Nut Brown Ale http://www.midwestsupplies.com/hex-nut- ... e-kit.html This the last off my Boxed kits, I wanted to get my pipeline back up so I been brewing these back to back. I have 3} 5 gal. carboys and 2 LBK's full right now and I have bottled 2} 5 gal. batches so far. Now I can slow down a little and brew up some original recipes. :wow:

Got a starter going for a SMaSH lager I'm going to try to brew tomorrow. Belgian 2-row and Belma hops, using the Wyeast 2112 yeast I washed from the Lombard Street Swill.

About to visit Screwy's site to make sure I've got the right amount of bottles I need for helping my brother bottle his BrewDemon Twisted Monk Witbier.

I'm a little slow on the uptake here but yesterday I bottled two batches, one being another of T8r's Grand Bohemian Czech Pils (old MB recipe) a nice 5.2% ABV beer using 7.5 g sachet of Cooper's Brewers Yeast. Other one was a knockoff from New CMB Beach babe Blonde, a nice 4.6% ABV beer using 2 old MB 2 gram yeast packets (decent attenuation yet).

Then I looked over and saw 2 newly emptied LBKs sitting there and brewed up an Old MB recipe called Quiet Kreek Kolsch, slight variance in that instead of using wheat UME I used a can of WWW along with a can of CGL with Sterling hops and a half sachet of Safbrew S-33 (5.75 grams)...the beast was churning and burning about 3 hours later and still going strong today.
Followed that batch up with T8r's Blue Moon clone (old MB style) with added orange zest minus the coriander seeds...2 cans of WWW, bag of booster and a little honey with the other half of sachet of Safbrew S-33 yeast and that beast was churning and burning after about 6 hours and the brew closet smells like a fine Spring day full of orange blossoms in the desert.

My pipeline has been crying for new product and I am trying like hell to fill it with some pretty simple, quick MB recipes. Sorry for the novel. :give:

Time to try to bury the PoR in the Northwest Pale for me this weekend. I'll be doing a partial mash with 1lb of 2row, .5lb of white wheat, .25lb cherrywood smoked malt, and a box of Kashi 7 grain honey puffs. Mt Hood and/or columbus hops. Also adding some cubeb berries to the mix. Finally dropping a WLP670 American Farmhouse Blend (saison/brett blend) on top. If that doesn't kill the PoR flavors, I'm not sure anything can...

This is a batch I'm working on now, since I scored some Mosaic hops.
Curious if it will be as good as my Amarillo/Citra brew!
Sounds tasty to me!

This looks good but I think you should dry hop for longer than 0 days. :)

What is TBM Golden Lager / GBCP mix ?
TBM = The Beer Machine Golden Lager, another so-called fastbrew company produced what they call brew-in-the-bag recipes which come with Dry malt extract, hop powder and then a separate sachet of yeast and then all you did back then was to just add water and put it in their fermenter...Beer in a week they promised.

GBCP is for Grand Bohemian Czech Pils HME from Old Mr Beer...it is one of my favorites. So I boiled my water, added booster and the bag of TBM and let it boil for about 20 minutes to help change that shitty Hop powder profile in the TBM. I didn't plan on it going out at 7.7% but I don't care it tasted nice out of the FG sample. I couldn't believe the attenuation from the yeast but I did have a volcano that first 2 days.
