January MB BOM

Post by berryman »

Ok granted I don't visit the MB forum very often, and when I do it's a quick look-around then I'm gone. Maybe it was posted here and I missed it, BUT.............Our own RickBeer is the January BOM.

And so start-ith the Debauchery. May the Beer flow more so than the calling of names and insults.

I misread Dave's post, I though he said from one "BUM" to another...

Thanks guys. When I was first contacted, I suggested to them that they'd want to find someone that was an active purchaser of their product (my two orders came in August and October of 2012), and not someone that was using up inventory with no intention of rebuying. That didn't matter to them, so I graciously(?) accepted. As you saw, I wrote it very much tongue in cheek, except for the part when I told Diane I wouldn't do the nude pictorial.

My knowledge, albeit limited, has largely been gained from the forum (both there and here), and many of you have been the purveyors of that knowledge. Like in the write-up, I won't mention names for fear of missing someone, but thank you all (well, most of you, a few of you are PITAs and I don't want to thank you so I won't but since you don't know who I'm thanking you don't know who is a PITA and therefore it doesn't matter and yes I'm typing this like a noob asking questions to get a laugh which I probably will not).

I was most excited to learn of the 25% ownership in Mr. Beer, but I turned around and sold that back to Coopers and with my profit I plan on buying a snow shovel. Plastic one. Small.

Thanks again gentleman, and of course the Bird Lady. All the other women seem to have been scared away by the manliness (cough, cough) of the forum.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...
