Ain't it the truth

Post by FedoraDave »

So I went down to my LHBS today. Always a good thing. But on the way there, I pass a giant wine and liquor outlet store, and on the big sign out front, they have a banner with the Bud Light logo on it, and next to that it says, "Help Wanted."

And I'm thinking, "No shit."

Not to pee on the big beer companies (OK, yes I will), there's commercials on the local radio for a local sports bar's Super Bowl party and they continually repeat that they have Bud on draft at 29 degrees. They actually mention this 4 times in a 15 second ad! Chill your homebrew to 29 and then drink it at 38-40 and tell me which one you like? I actually like it warmer than that but technically, CO2 breaks down above 38 or say 'they' say.
