Nice flag. Bet that polishes up real shiny.
I believe the modern day NFL started with the merger of the AFL and NFL in 1970. I would even go back a few more years to the first Super Bowl in 1967 between the two leagues. Otherwise it's kind of like saying the ancient Greeks are a great Olympic team...

Just as I suspected. LOL
Hey do you know where your team logo came from?

Re: Hello everybody...
Pretty sure it was based on a US Steel or Steel and Iron Workers logo.

Interestingly enough, this was all I found for the Browns' trophy case...
That's awesome! Glad there is another Steelers fan here!

Re: Hello everybody...
Well, you see, back when men were men, and football was football, we were the top of the game.
No less than 8 championship wins....
Fast forward some years to this maamby paamby sport they call "football" and the steelers are suddenly great?
That's because they couldn't handle the real football we used to bring to the field, so they whined and moaned and got the rules changed forever...
C'est la vie....

Re: Hello everybody...
Yeah, kinda awesome how a simple "Hello" from BrownstotheBone has turned into a thread where everyone can learn how much more awesome the Steelers are than the Browns.
