I certainly enjoy the camaraderie here. Much more comfortable than other places.

Re: Three cheers for this Borg!
The original MB borg stood out as a special place right away -- and the spirit lives on here. Most helpful, friendly site on the web, IMO!

I'm not particularly crazy (IMO), and I don't rock-climb. It's just the name of a video game I used to like to play, back in the 80's.

I agree with all the sentiments expressed. We have captured the spirit of the old Mr Beer Forum in a freer and more functional forum, thanks to Louie!! I am so glad to have you all as friends.

From someone who has been AWOL for a while, this place will always be home. Although I haven't been able to login for a while, I've thought about it every day.

That's another great thing about this forum, a lot of familiar names get sidetracked by life and don't log in frequently but when they do they are the friends of old and we are eager to welcome them back and hear what they've been doing and brewing etc.rickbray66 wrote:From someone who has been AWOL for a while, this place will always be home. Cheers! I love this place for it's comrade. Most everyone is great on here, some kookier than others, some not so, but it takes all kinds to make the world, er, forum churn.

Re: Three cheers for this Borg!
good people, helpin' you brew good beer, and companionship as you drink it. How could it miss? actually I thank swmbo frequently for this hobby. I never would've spent the money on a maybe. I owe the borg the same. without y'all i'd've brewed 2 maybe 3 batches adhering to a strict 222 and quit brewing. so; thank all y'all for my hobby.

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
