Here I Am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Brewing Gal »

Hi All,
I'm Brewing Gal. I'm not surprised that you guys don't remember me. I mainly lurked & tried to learn how to brew. It took awhile but I managed to brew a decent beer. I brewed the MR Beer recipes as they were.

Anyways I started brewing beer because my boyfriend, hated the beers in the store. I always wanted to try it. Anyways he says he married me because I brew good brew imagine that. I always thought it was my killer body :o Stopped when I found out I was prego. Anyways baby is here and I am a stay at home mom.

Anyways I am done with Mr Beer. I found the Borg only because of the hidden links. I was a software developer. For the time being I want to stay with the small batches. So what do you guys recommend?

I apologize for my ravings about how lame MR Beer is. I don't how often I will be posting. Baby keeps busy

Welcome. Glad you found the place.

You say you want to stay with small batches. If you want to stay with HMEs for the simplicity, especially since you're busy with the baby, you might want to give Brew Demon a try. I believe there is a thread somewhere, not sure if it's still valid, for Borg members to get some small discount on their stuff.

Welcome aboard, and congrats on the nuptials and newborn!!

Brew Demon has all the old Mr B. HMEs if you liked any of them. If not, there have been a few one gallon kits/recipes pop up the last few months. Or are you just wanting to do DMEs/Hops? The BORG can get ya going on most anything/size ya want, lots of us are now doing all grain. Give us a shout, what's your desires brewing wise?

Welcome! I'm glad you found us.

If you want quick small batches, you can either go with BrewDemon, or else whip up some quick DME/hop boil recipes that will beat the BMCs seven ways to Sunday.

I echo Beer-lord's questions. What kinds of beer do you like? And what's your experience level?

Believe me, if we know these two things, we can help you brew some outstanding beer, with a minimum of time and effort.

We have the information you want. Just ask.
