Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Stout

Some of you may know that I belong to home brew club called Sons of Liberty Home Brew Club in my local area. In January the Sons of Liberty were one of several home brew clubs invited to participate in The Arbor Brewing Company’s Annual Rat Fest. The Sons of Liberty ended up cleaning up in the awards including Best Overall Beer which happens to be the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Stout recipe that has been shared on the SOLHBC.com website. This is an amazing take on the Oatmeal stout and I really thing several of you will enjoy it!

I'm not a stout fan, but that's a good looking recipe, and the picture of the stout looks great!

I love stouts, not all but many and am just now getting into them because I like to drink the this time of year. I've not had luck with oatmeal but this one is being saved. I like the use of Special B in this.
