want to start kegging soon and need help ... LOTS of help

Have a question on how to keg your beer or just want some tips on bottling! Don't stick a cork in it until you ask the Borg!

First start by figuring out how MANY beers you want on tap at one time. Are you going the keezer, fridge route, picnic or regular taps? I purchased all my kegging supplies from
Kegconnection, good selection, good prices, good customer service (emailed a question on a clamp size and received a reply in about 10 minutes).
My set up is 6 kegs in a 8cf freezer controlled with a STC-1000 with 5ft line and picnic taps. I have a 8 inch collar and both the lid and collar are hinged. This works best for me.

This is a good place to start for freezer lay outs.

What he said, plus, what size kegs, 5 gals or 3? If you go 5 gal. shop around, you'll find package deals. I got 2 reconditioned 5ers, new 5# co2, 2 picnic taps, dual regulator, and gas line with splitter for $195. Check craigslist, if you trust it for kegs. I personally would buy used from a dealer, unless you know the people.

Think ahead as well. You may THINK you only want 1 or 2 kegs, but trust me, that will change.

And I am envious of Ink's set up...
