I tried a new one today, Ithaca Flower Power. Very nice.

Never mind, there it is.

Only had the Abbey, its very tasty!
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.

I've been interested in working up a cream ale recipe, myself. Guess I better do some "research". ;)

MrB has a cream ale recipe that I modified and really enjoyed.

Here is my version:

1 can Patriot lager
1 (.55# MrB pouch) Pale LME
.5# Extra Light DME

It was a very malty and delicious beer.
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.

A clone of the Ruthless Rye is my main house brew. I could drink nothing but that and be a very happy camper.
