good beer day
Good day to love beer. Called up AHB because they never credited my gift certificate and they were very nice and I'm getting a $30 refund on beers that are currently carbing.
Last night I went to go buy a laptop and saw a store "Something wine and spirits" (can't remember the name of it). But I went inside out of curiosity and they had 4 giant isles of beer. It was amazing. They had 3 six-shelved racks completely dedicated to IPAs. Craft beers were sorted by style. Imported beers were sorted by country. You could buy singles, six packs, or cases. Really a gem of a find. In fact there were so many choices I got overwhelmed and just ended picking up a few "safe bets". Looking forward to going back. Here is the haul.
3 Pale Ales, 2 Porters, an IPA, and a 2014 Bigfoot. The only one I've actually had is the Black Butte Porter. But Sierra Nevada is usually solid, its pretty hard to mess up a Pale Ale, and I loved Fall Hornin from Anderson Valley so I have faith the Spring Hornin IPA will be good.
Then I came home and found this at my door. Thanks Morebeer, I love that place!

Sounds like you discovered Total Wine, my favorite store. I'm on my way to my local one now, the delivery truck comes Wednesdays at noon and that's the only place I can ever find Pliny. Still hit-and-miss, but I always check when I have time on hump day
Re: good beer day
I could go to a store like that with sleeping bag in hand and stay a day or five.

Total Wine & More, thats it! (I looked it up based on Bradyfumbled's comment). That place is awesome. I will have to remember to check in when they get deliveries.
Guess I'll be brewing and drinking some this weekend.

Re: good beer day
Stopped by this afternoon and scored a bottle of Pliny AND a bottle of Consecration (first time I've ever even seen a bottle down here). I could spend hours (and blow a small fortune) in that store.
