Lacing!

Post by John Sand »

Okay, it's a little thing. But I've had trouble with my head (who doesn't?). It's been thin and tenuous. Today I poured another Fat Cat Pale, which might use a little more aging. But it had a beautiful finger of white head that left lacing all the way down the glass. I'm excited!

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

The first glass was better, with rings all the way down. This one was rinsed just before filling.

OK, that didn't work. But if you click on the link, you'll see the pic.
Anyone know why that didn't work?
