yeast question
I am going to be splitting a five gallon batch between two lbk's. I will be doing different lme's in each lbk. can I split a safale us-05 11.5 g packet of yeast between the two lbk's? It is a muntons hme and I have read that the yeast with that is not the best. I thought about trying their yeast in one and the 05 in the other but if I use just the -05 can I split it?

Yes. No problem at all.

Re: yeast question
thank you sir. I may still use the munton's in one batch for a comparison but I am not sure at the moment.

Re: yeast question
Should be good to go even if you pitch the whole packet of US-05 in one LBK.
