Lets get it going
Got a crock pot full of buffalo chicken dip, a fridge full of homebrew, 2 bags of chips and thePens and Blackhawks squaring off in Soldier field for some outdoor, nighttime hockey. All this to hunker down and ride out a big pissed off storm ready to wreak havoc on the U.S. Expected foot + of snow thru monday afternoon. Got the couch cushions all primped and the blankets ready cause Im not moving til its all over. Stay safe out there folks...

"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
Edgar Allan Poe

Someone forgot to tell the pens that the olympic break is over. Cripes was that a one sided game. Oh well, theres always homebrew.

Loved watching the game in blizzard conditions on the boob tube. Finally received a nice little drenching here in the Mesa area. Waited all night and day for it though. Gonna be an ugly fire season come Summer here in the Southwest.

It's nice to see a couple of outdoor games, but the camera angles etc aren't the best. Stix were doubling and snow removal as well...
No dogs in that fight, but I watched anyway...

Looking out the front window this morn, sky is clear, not a flake in the sky... (I can hear the smarties now... LOL) Gorgeous sunrise, only thing moving is the smoke from the chimney. If it were not for the -41 wind chills at the moment, I'd go out take a pic of it (sunrise). NOT gonna happen.
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!
Re: Lets get it going
Yesterday we sat out on the sunny patio in the eighties enjoying a cold one. And today it is overcast, misty and in the low thirties.
Overnight freeze for Sunday high in the forties for Monday and then back into the upper seventies by mid-week.
Sheesh!!! I think a super power has a weather machine pointed at the USA and is trying to make us all go crazy.

Pittsburgh panic set in for nothing. 5 or 6 inches tops. What a bust. Shoveled a bit of snow earlier out of boredom mainly. Weather dudes got it made.
