A Night in Brussels

Post by Beer-lord »

Got a bottle of this from a really nice guy and thought, why not. It's an IPA and Belgian and I don't get to taste many of these.
This pours a golden yellow with a good 2 finger head with a definite Belgian aroma front to back.
The taste is yeasty, biscuity, with Belgian semi sweetness. The hops are a bit hidden and I'd like to get a bit more of them up front (surprise!) but they do come out in the end. As it warms, the spicy yeast comes out and its at its best then.
It's clean and almost light. Not a bad beer at all. I would love to try this in draft.
Thanks ink for the chance to try this beer.

Oooh... I remember that one. I really enjoyed it. From what I remember, it had nice IPA characteristics mixed really well with Belgian characteristics.

Kind of makes me want to try my own Belgian IPA. I'll put it on the bucket list.
