I get a fever......

Post by Beer-lord »

and the only cure is hitting the homebrew a little heavy tonite. Just have too much of it so I think I'll partake a bit more than I normally do and get some of my demons out of me tonite.
Just a warning that if later tonite I say something stupid, you can hold it against me.

Just another thought..anyone use ooVoo? Better than skype and you can talk to more than 1 person at a time. Sorta like the tap room but you get to see who you're talking to. Too many people can get confusing but we should start a 'drunk channel' so know the evil that is in the borg. Can you imagine Jeff in his kilt, the Hat constantly changing hats, Frozen on his bike topless :o or, God forbid....THE EVIL TWIN?

Drink up BL. I have a real fever, maybe flu. Right now even beer makes me sick, so hoist one for me. I'm having broth, soft bread and cool water. But don't feel bad, I did put a little jelly on the bread. WoooHoooo!
And if I say anything stupid later, it's delirium. Yeah, that's the ticket.

So it has started.
Found 2 very old homebrews that I had to ditch. One had to be 12-14 months old. No worries, got more beer than hair on my head.
Hope you feel better soon John!

No names yet Chris but if the fever gets high enough you never know.

Yea, truth is, my wife cooked such a wonderful dinner, I only had 4 beers and got full. :) Not even buzzed enough to think of any good names. Only WUSS comes to mind right now.
I'll try for part 2 tomorrow afternoon.
Move along, nothing to see here.

That could be a good name for a beer. I'd be just a simple Cream Ale, something anybody could drink.

I like it, Jeff! Turns out I'm brewing a cream ale this morning, but I'm calling it Tennessee Cream Ale; a play on "Genesee", the Rochester, NY-based brewery for whom cream ale is their dubious claim to fame, and also playing on the fact that my mom's a Tennessee gal born and raised, and she hasn't completely lost the hillbilly twang in her speech despite living in Noo Yawk for the last 64 years. Still pronounces the word "door" with two syllables.

Part 2 didn't work either. My wife and I BBQd some sausage and a huge T-bone and enjoyed the extra hour of daylight in the 68 degree evening.....ha ha!
Tried to gain a buzz but I worked so hard today, I guess I wasn't able to. The fever will have to wait until next weekend.
Carry on!
